Handbrake seems to be pretty much ineffective. I changed the transfer box out in the summer. Maybe I stuffed up the oil seal to the gearbox when I replaced it?! Don't fancy lying under it tonight so it'll have to limp on for a few more days.
Got new boots fitted the the 19's, maybe this time I won't have such a hard time in the mud
Put new winter Tigers on mine last year and this year have proved the investment was worth it again with the conditions lately.Proper tyres make a hell of a difference. As an all-rounder I've found General Grabber AT2s to be very good on the P38.
Now you can spend the next twelve months chasing the oil leaks just in time for the next MOT..Had my 2001 P38 in for its first MOT since owning it today. After some recent fun with both the ABS & EAS I was a tad worried but....

Went out today to more snow and freezing rain (only because I was doing a hospital run )only to pootle past the local stupeedos who think a Russian attitude and a big 4wd gives you impunity to the weather. I just like seeing them at the side of the road in the ditch as there attitude to driving here constantly amazes me. Still even in bad weather trying to overtake in stupid places and the speed,,,,,,,,, just crazy.
