Got a set of glowplugs.
Since I'm skinny and have girly hands looks like I can do it without removing intake manifold

As a random thought it's tempting to see if I can remove dials and do red needles. Opinions welcome

changed rear wiper blade. Halfords' catalogue actually lists 18" for P38s, not the correct 19". Plus my wiper arm hinge is rusted solid (wiper still works though...)

Talk to @martyuk as he's done all his with LEDs IIRC.

I did red needles with nail varnish on the Bmw when I removed the bling rings. Here's some pics

Still light up like before as it's only the front face you do.
Can't decide if it's worth doing to the rangie or if it's a daft idea

Lost power as though it went into limp home mode. Check engine light came on. Rolled into a layby and as I came to a halt the light went out and power came back. First time I have had it do this so I am a tad worried.

Assuming I make it back to work, I'll try and find somewhere that can throw her on computer.

Glowplugs fitted yesterday 1st heat after 9hrs parked she started :)
So far today fitted my sub and amp..
Just out enjoying her finding a few back tracks

It is a diesel, and that'd help a lot. I know I should buy my own diagnostics but this is the first time I've had an check engine come on in almost 6 years of ownership.

After it had been standing for years and a bit of fettling, I started the black beast. Sounds wonderful! The previous owner had only done 4k since having a new 4.6 motor fitted. Oxidized rocker covers make it look a hit scruffy so I'll do them when I get new gaskets. Checked the fluid level in the auto box, it was spot on and like new but it should have been because it had only done 3.5 k since fitted
