New pulley and tensioner arm fitted with new belt. All back to normal. Took trace of EAS on test run and all looks good.

Brake pipes to both rears removed, had to cut the f*** out of them.New flexi pipes ordered and made new lines up.The old ones were a pain to remove around the fuel tank cover but on inspection they were rotten.Im hoping the new copper pipes will bend easy to aid refitting.

You don't "have" to route them over the fuel tank! That's only done at the factory as the tank goes in after...

Simply find a route away from the exhaust, away from moving parts and suspension and ensure they are fixed to the chassis leg or cross member.

I needed to replace the rear pipes on mine and that's all we did... Mind you, a four post ramp is a big help

Changed new battery's on the key fob, and somehow Its not working right (Land Rover right???) so sent it off for replacement (by-by £40)

That's kinda the plan but I would like to try and go up behind the cover if poss.Aye a 4 poster would have helped

Not mine but went for a trip out with an old friend in his ejoke as a car quite nice and some good features, but it is not a range rover not half as much headroom and space inside as there should be in a RR and the dash and waste line is to high.

Tomcat...
That's nothing, my old man was trying to find Crathy Church and stopped to ask directions, a yokel uttered "aye, ut's doon Ben an' turn Lecht",,,, once there at the Queens Highland Chapel my father took a Benny and literally threw the money lenders oot o tha chapel!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
(selling touristy stuff from within the Lords Hoose is a complete taboooooo.....) I was so proud.
(Ok, he didn't hurt the 80 yo woman, but he gave her chapter n verse on biblical stuff and gave her a total 'redder'...:D)
The son of a missionary then.;):)

Spent a second day diagnosing lack of cruise control ( went intermittent a year or so ago, died completely 8 months ir so ago). Passed all ETM tests so points to ECU. Resoldered caps on PCB on 2 spare ones from eBay but still no joy. Guess they may be faulty too. Now looking to to do conversion to later ECU, but need the new type loom plug for connection...

The rocker cover gaskets now don't leak, the interior is nice and dry, the battery doesn't keep going flat and the aerial is now connected back to the rf receiver meaning I don't have to get up close and personal with the fob anymore and no more messages about brake fluid level - so now I have a brand new MOT as well......

But everythings OK because the headlining is sagging a treat and the grille finish is going patchy so all's well:)

Headlining almost a pleasant job and you'll be really pleased when done. Weather's nice. Martrim kit is about £60. Sounds like the next job?!

Re trimmed my headlining last week, you are correct, looks so much cleaner inside now, bit of a sod to do around the grab handles but take your time and all will be well.
