Keep a close eye on it, I had one of those batterys die on my in a few months to the stage where it would drop from a "full" charge to a none starter in a few hours. They agreed to replace and shes been good as gold since!

Almost got it augured into a pretty fair mud hole. Negotiating deep mud is not one of its strong suits.

No, it isn't. Needs Kamlockers or Airlockers to have much of a chance.Or damn great knobblies. Low in third seems to be best for mud.

996Turbo might be able to advise. He does some more serious off-roading. He has some great videos on YouTube.

Washed her, cleaned and fed leather seats. Painted the recovery hooks front and rear just used a drop of hamerite. Painted up a bracket under the bonnet not sure what it's for its the right hand side of the rad it was looking quite rusty so sanded back the rust to clean metal primer paint lacquer refit. Topped up the coolant not sure if it's a leak or a case of its always been low Rounded it off by ordering some chip paint

Plod are only interested in fancy squad cars and meeting targets these days, crime appears to have dropped, but only because the feckers will not record crime they don't fancy dealing with:rolleyes:

Maybe it's not crime anymore, it's probably classed as redistribution of goods?

Gave it a really good wash and risked jet washing the cow ****e off all the bits the MOT tester will want to look at underneath on Monday.

Collected some wood. How much weight? No problemo.

Boiled her over following HGV up Sutton Bank A170 near Thirsk. Viscous fan never cut in. An hour to cool down at the top and a gallon of water from public bogs and away again. Ho Hum.

My chip paint turned up so sorted out the chips on the bonnet and front bumper as well as a couple of other places not looking 100% perfect but better than before unless you look close you don't notice anything. The bumper does look better but it needs a respray the muppet that did it before left paint runs and its starting to peel along slats between the fogs. Also took the chance to straighten up the number plate on the front.

Got a small tax refund so I decided to spend it on a few bits to give her a service and some paint for the front bumper should be here by the weekend.

Yep. Received it yesterday. Thanks. Just waiting for my son to fit as am disabled now and not able to crawl around on the floor. Well I could but would not be able to get back up! Reduced to jobs that I can do while sitting down. Very frustrating.
