Picked up a few friends and took it out for dinner lol
I found some fixings from a Nissan, cut down to size and then cut out old mushroom bits and glued new ones in their place. Fixes a treat.

No me neither. I also managed to destroy one chain wrench! Bastard was tight, ended up using a 3ft bar just to move it!
Well just got on line here in France so can communicate now. Drove over 400 miles in one go towing a 1 ton trailer fully loaded with my 2.5dse with a Leakey engine oil cooler not severe, stopping for fuel etc. No problems apart from I had cruise control on and about 80 miles from destination going up a hill it decides to change down for me revs like a mad man on steroids to keep same speed ie. 55mph and then as if someone had stole the engine down to 30 odd mph. 23kmh to next service station so limp there with a little black smoke coming out the exhaust and HGV's up me backside. No lights on anywhere, no over heating, get to service station check fluids etc all ok, just had fluids done with filters prior to departure. Had a coffee and a rest for 20 mins pondering if I should call breakdown, (always have European cover) started vehicle up and went on my way as though nothing had happened. Arrived safely all OK. Was anxious with this vehicle as the chap who had it before me done SFA on it so pleased that not really any problems for me.

Got tractor stuck in boggy ground (only a little tractor) but never the less 4 ton one which has four wheel drive, the more I tried the deeper it went right up to diffs etc. Thought how the hell will I get this out (got stuck a few days ago and neighbor with tractor pulled me out, different part of land). Any way do I risk the P38 dse on boggy ground, well yes I did as neighbor was on holiday. Got the wife in the RR put in 4 wheel drive and pulled the tractor out as though nothing was attached to the RR. Well impressed with that as the RR has a few problems and was not 100% it would do it.

She comes from farming stock, tuff old breed, chucked the chains round her neck whacked her on the old rump and away she went, the car done pretty well also.
