Reset the service interval as the guys forgot to do it when she was serviced. Going to pick the neighbours up from the station in a bit, to give them a bit of luxury on the last leg of their journey home :)

Used it to help with a MRT rescue, too many people not enough team vehicles to transport them and equipment. A dog had fallen 100ft off of a cliff (the owners friend had almost gone the same way). After we sorted the dog (did I mention we have a vet on our team? We do) and sent it off in a team ambulance with owner to the nearest vet the friend and the t'other dogs needed transport, because my pig of a RR decided it'd drain the battery at a staging post (think battery is on the way out) and needed a jump start I was forfeited to transport the dogs. Which upon hearing the news jumped into the nearest stream.

She handled the offroad stuff without issue (slight traction issues due to road tyres but no real drama) but insides and out are now covered in crud, outside is just mud and sheep turd, inside is the above plus vast amounts of dog slobber. Cba to clean it today so will do it after work tomorrow.

But my new battery should arrive soon, 1,000CCA and 130AH of goodness. Starting issues shouldn't exist once that is dropped in. The 650CCA and 95AH on there right now clearly isn't man enough.

all in a days work ah :D
:)

There is a reason every MRT in the land uses a Landy, though not for much longer, loss of the Defender means we're all going pickup route.
Work on top of work, good fun though.

changed auto box filter and oil, fitted new drag link bar and track rod bar, also cleaned intercooler and pipework out :)

today it was that time of year we all hate ..... no not april 1. the mot
the old gal passed, but the advisory sheet amused me. ( o/s/r exhaust repair ). ??? ohhhhh you mean the heat protective wrap that is wrapped round the stainless steel quad exit rear pipes to protect the rear air bags from the heat :hysterically_laughi
head lamp aim slightly low..... well wont be dazzling anyone then :D
oil leak, .... no says i , its factory fitted land rover anti corrosion system. :hysterically_laughi

Ignition key switch playing up. Showed "ignition key in" after taking out key.

Gave it a few squirts of contact cleaner. Let it dry out and gave it a squirt of graphite powder. Been OK so far.

Which tank did you buy? Is it a 36L tank? 80L? what was the cost, if I may be so bold?

It was the 84L single hole vert toroidal from here (3 items from the bottom): Tinley Tech Limited Tanks - single-hole

I think it came to around the £400 mark in the end by the time I'd bought all of the pipework and fittings.

I fitted this tank as my under-sill tanks had passed the 10 year mark which is when you're supposed to replace them, so, aswell as the tank, I ran all new poly pipework and fitted a new filler too. It actually seems to drive a bit better, possibly due to the larger diameter pipework and less T-pieces and joiners to go through compared to what was there for the twin tanks.

It's a fair size tank, and I have had to modify the trim in the boot to be able to still use the original parcel shelf, but it's now a lot more practical with more capacity than my old tanks and no ground clearance issues.

If you want to see some pics, pm me your email address

I noticed that the headlamp wiper blades are starting to perish. Will have to amend this.
Also cleaned the rear seats as they had dog on them still.

Terribly unreliable these Range Rovers. Those wipers have only been on for 13 years. I expected more from a prestige brand.

Well took my 4.6 for its mot today, and its passed again.:D

I see this year the latest style mot's have the last four years mileage's printed on them,in an attempt to avoid clocking i guess !

I have plans to fit a turbo boost controller. Today I decided where to mount the bracket under the bonnet. The design is based on a design I found on an Aussie site.
