Stood around "working" when I hear a horn start going off. Laugh to the lad I hope it isn't mine. 10 minutes later a bloke comes up to me "your horn is going off outside the marine block mate, they aren't happy". **** I think, and walk on down. Turns out the weird puddle of water I found on the steering wheel this morning is shorting the horn, so I just pulled the relay. It looks like condensation from the freeze last night has melted and dripped on the wheel.
That'll teach me to move the steering wheel back for more comfort.

Sounds like you have water getting in somewhere for there to be that much condensation in there.

Mine did that once.

Turned out to be the sunroof frame had rusted and expanded forcing the metal frame apart and allowing water to wick under the seal and drip off the inside of the glass.

Taking the seal off and filling the gap with sealant fixed it ;)

And don't forget the duct tape. ;):D
yep ;)

I haven't got a sun roof. I guess the seal for the windscreen is possible? Not really beyond the whelms of possibility for condensation. I left her to warm up for 10 mins or so before driving to work and it was minus something this morning
