Hit the Royal mail track and trace button again for the parts I ordered 3 weeks ago and...............still sat waiting to depart the UK. Fair play to the Royal mail they have been handed over to Russia post who are being very Russian about the whole thing as I called them and they agreed they have possession of them in the UK but at the moment wont bring them over as they don't have enough other parcels to accompany them on a parcel flight as apparently its different to a mail flight. I have not had this issue before and so just have to wait, So just looked out of the window at the beast and hope the snow and bad weather doesn't come before the parts.

Opened up my old torque converter. Just out of curiosity.

Looks nasty
I dont know how they look new. But it was like rubbing fingers with cutting compound.
Il send my original box away at somepoint and see how damaged it is. Hopefully not too bad I did catch it on its 1st judder but that was 500 miles from home

does rain water from the central air intake below the windscreen drain into either pollen filter box depending on how the car is parked, or does it have its own drain?

There are drains either side of the scuttle ;)
are they the same drains for the pollen filter? i've still not worked out *exactly* which bit is covered by 'scuttle'
if not, will they come down either side of the bellhousing? still can't find the pollen filter drain tubes :(

When the pollen filter housings fill with water it drains onto your carpet ;)

The drains come out just behind the mud flaps ;)

brill, so no matter how well i seal the filter covers etc, rain will still get in thru the middle vent and overflow if the drains are blocked.. good to know ;)
now i just need to find them
Seal the covers with a good load of silicone, the covers bend in the middle so it needs to be a good dollop.

Also put a blob on the threads and heads of the screws that run the length of the scuttle ;)
