Diagnosed the total electrical power loss (intermittent) on my 2002 L322 4.4
The neg terminal on the battery although the clamp was tight was still not fully clamped on the battery terminal, removed, both clamp and post cleaned, and refitted, the clamp is now noticeably further down on the post and it securely attached to the Neg battery terminal.
Also changed by headlight bulbs (D2s) bulbs as 1 was failing

Well spotted just like mine, everything looks good but it’s within a Gnats thing of being on tight enough for the secure connection our Rangies need to behave.

I actually need to get new terminals as mine are fubar. When fully tightened, they no longer grip the terminals sufficiently.
have you got them on far enough? i have to force mine open with a screwdriver and tap it onto the battery as far as it will go

Had the positive terminal like that on mine, surprising the problems it caused.
