Replaced the steering wheel and sorted a very small leak from the compressor to dryer.

Fixed the tab on the EAS cover so it now locks in place properly.
Fixed the fastenings for the battery cover so it's now properly secure.

Kicked it for still not working properly on Nanocom.

Found out why battery was dead the other day! Appears is not going to sleep sometimes after the allotted time :( next i need to figure out why

Removed the maintenance charger from the red one and started it up. Kicked the Bastid, will get around to that one tomorrow if it's a bit warmer. Shock to the system the temperature this morning. No shorts and flip flops. Was in the 30's by 11 oclock and touched 42 by 1600 hrs last week. The Boss complained it was too hot:rolleyes:

42c?!

I was freezing my tits off today!

I said last week, flew in from Fuerteventura last night mate.:D And so was I if it's any consolation, and it's bloody raining now  Guess work on the Black one AKA the Bastid. Is on hold.:(
Yep it's raining her too!

Damn..

You'll get the black done for sure ;)

Took Buttercup for her CT (mot) this morning. WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO HHHHHHOOOOOOO :):):):):)
She passed, no advisories. Well, no official ones anyway, tester commented on the overall good condition, and let me off a dead brake light, "Probably just the bulb, get it done asap please"
That's why I go to that tester, he knows how to treat an old lady, and he trusts me to put right a minor fault quickly.

My Audi had its first MOT last month and flew through it.. Apart from one advisory; rear child seat fitted.

Totally understandable but annoying not having a proper pass on what is basically a brand new car.

The RR however passes every year almost but as I drive it so little, it gets the same advisory: off side front tyre near legal limit

Put drivers door card back on and lightly greased the window gearing. Is lot cleaner in there now and everything is working. Deaded battery hasn’t got enough life in it to turn engine over but boot opens, dash lights up, windows & Alarm operate so seems to have enough to power the BECM oKay.
Had good go at removing the rear height sensors they don’t want to snap, typical!

Changed the oil on a friends DSE for the 4th time..

Much better this time, no lumps of **** in there this time, oil filter looks happier too..

Some new ELF 5w40 and a Mann filter sees it good. A fresh autobox service and a new set of front tyres..

Drives very well now, Lass is very happy with it!

Last week I noticed the brakes felt a bit notchy. Sunday I noticed a drip of brake fluid on the bottom of one caliper. The Britpart seal from the summer has started to fail! As Eurocarparts had a deal on I got refurbed Pagid ones. Turns out they're Lucas originals that have had the full works including paint - so better than the originals! Came in at eighty quid or so. Fitted this evening and all seems good.

Ordered a new battery!
Hi did you identify your battery drain yet? I had a similar issue ( not going to sleep) and it only corrected after a bad earth on the engine to body strap got repaired. I had some comments on this in my post and we concluded that the poor earth could have lead to the system thinking something was still operational. I spent quite some time repeatedly sat with a mug of tea in the car waiting for it to sleep before the Eureka moment but after that no more battery drain.
Hope this helps, Tricky.

I've cleaned up some earth connections 'just in case', is currently going to sleep, fingers crossed
