Think I owe you an apology @tomcat59alan have taken carpet up today, bone dry to centre consul but wet through along channel with wiring in. Looks like its coming down from pollen filter area and following channel. Did find where someone in past had sealed round pollen filter in one area , have cleaned this up and resealed with LSX (top stuff). What is weird it is wet near seat under BCM where plugs go in and does show pink when touching it and slimy to the touch. Any ideas?
O rings if your coolant is pink.

Sorry I couldn't reply,sh1t internet connection, again. As Keith posted O rings unless you've spilt antifreeze and its drained into the car
Totally bone dry under dash all carpet and sound suppressant dry. It is only wet along where cables run, infact gulley full of liquid. It is only wet along side of gulley and for about 6inch in from seat in a circle, as far as built in rubber mat. It is 3 1/2 to 4 years since I changed engine due to constant overheating problems. Could the old coolant have stayed in gulley until pollen filter leak caused it to increase and seep into carpet?

After 3 months in lockdown finally got to the lock up and re-fitted the refurbished front brake caliper carriers with new guide pins, new discs and pads. Happy days.:)
Took it for a test drive, (and to make sure my eyesight was ok), Found that the brakes are binding and one of the rear ones which were also refurbished recently with new discs has bound on so badly that the disc is knackered and needs replacing. :(
Looks like I need to replace the brake pistons and seals. I should have just done them at the same time. I bet it’s a bigger of a job though!

Better off just replacing the callipers if it's a P38, cheap as chips.
