Did nothing, started it to top up the battery... I don't feel like taking it out and normally it makes me happy..

Pardon me jumping in, I have a couple that are scuffed and would like to replace, but how do you get to bend the pipe and get it to stay in place. As when they turn 90deg to go into the block.?When I first got it, it was on Shraeder valves. Sorted the valve block and compressor, but when I took the valves off the end of the pipes were buggered. Had to trim a fair amount off to get a usuable length into the collets. Consequently I've never been happy with the amount of tension on a couple of hoses going into the block. Pipe is cheap, I'm just worried about the routing.
This. And enough length so that the bend is fairly shallow.I did mine and put bends in it, just slow gentle heat, and put a wire in there and bend the wire the plastic will follow
+1 or if no wire try putting some sand in, the really dry kids play sand is idealI did mine and put bends in it, just slow gentle heat, and put a wire in there and bend the wire the plastic will follow
They were sealed but had a bow in them, some love from a heatgun and some new sealant should see them good..
I have a heat gun. And I'm fairly sure there is a 50m reel of 3.2mm dia wire in the garage.I did mine on the gas stove, start up high, just a little heat will do it
I made this rig and used a hair dryer, not exactly Chippendale. Leave it to cool before removing.Pardon me jumping in, I have a couple that are scuffed and would like to replace, but how do you get to bend the pipe and get it to stay in place. As when they turn 90deg to go into the block.?

Run over in styleCut the foam out of the car, saturated it was..
I was thinking of ways to dry it, then Dad came out and said "run it over"..
Hmm..
Amazing what you can do with a 2 ton Saloon...............
defo got more water out than leaving it to air dry..
much lighter too..
Going to see an xj350 for disk sizes and a 1996 xjs for steering issues tomorrow for a client. The xj350 is nice but a little too much plastic for me.Cut the foam out of the car, saturated it was..
