All stripped off now rear ( those nasty springs gone) aAll that remains is to clean off the accumulated crud rust and various other bits to get back to a clean start position.I have ordered what is need ed and I reckon 3 or 4 days of prep prior to acid wash. Found some decay on lower edge behind plastic wheel arch guard so will need to repair this.and cut off remaining bits of level sensors biggest job I find is that no-one seems to take care of nice thing until they fall into hands that appreciate them . This goes for most everything I find.

8 hours trying to sort out EAS, resealed the block and compressor a week ago, now the problem with the front slow to rise and coming up from access. Cocked up somewhere..

Headlining on mine needs doing too. It wasn't too bad until I was driving home from work yesterday with the sunroof open.

Been there! Ours opened up and spat sponge everywhere in the cab at 40mph.... It was like a swarm of bee's... Tucked in and slid back for the time being... And the rest was stapled at the back of the headliner to pull it tight:confused:

^^^ is easier than it seems once you are in there

Buy a DT without a sunroof was my solution.

How do you match the orange??
Put whatever you have/want on it. Could even just take the lining off, clean foam & reinstall.

You’ll need loctite for putting seatbelt nuts back on (17mm), gloves - is glass fibre and couple screwdrivers.
The 8 pillar panels pop off gently, sun visors, 3 handles, few blanking plugs, lights have connectors (pop the lenses out then unscrew) and the alarm sensor. Door/boot seals pull off SR is probably same.

Just take your time not to snap anything too bad be done in an afternoon. If you want to take your time take 2 or 3 afternoons it don’t matter. (Won’t)
Don’t want to do this in the cold winter when plastic is brittle.
Clean hands thoroughly before putting back in

I put some walking socks on my hands to smooth it into place in all the curves and crannies.

I drilled holes in the pump case other day make sure when I put it back in would reach the fuel in the bottom.
Can’t report if it’s ****** it up not been anywhere for weeks and going but cockoo er than usual
