Insurance does not insist on it, trust me I live here. its just they are crap at driving and parking and the Russian attitude of me first So don't get me started on how they get a licence my wife included.(that's how I know) I could get really in depth about how bad and under educated Russian drivers are from my own observations but it would take an whole other web page. Please as someone who lives and drives in Russia just love UK roads as they are and embrace the traffic police.
Sounds just like West Africa when I lived there, getting my wife a driving licence cost $20 American all she had to do was move the car forward 10 feet at the test centre. Afro the company driver arranged it all.

I also worked in west Africa Sierra Leone and paid 20$ for a full licence ,I never sat a test but turning up in a brit mil 110 V8 he seemed happy enough to be dropped off at Alxes bar to show off to his mates

I was based in Ghana and covered from Cote d'Ivoire down to Gabon missing out Nigeria. Used to drive regularly to Togo and Benin (called Dahomey in those days) on laterite roads much like your picture. Happy days.

Pretty much the same in Canada (and USA I believe). Helps keep drivers more mindful of anticipation & more observant in my experience.

The speed limit was 60mph in the states when i was there, snails pace.

Depends on the State. Plus when I was there you'd stop for "gas" and they'd say the police had gone the other way earlier that day so that was it, you could speed with impunity because he wouldn't be back until tomorrow.

On the run up from Virginia to Toronto, there were big signs along the road saying "60mph not 1mph" over and they cops were using light aircraft to nab speeders

Parked it up with the eas set to high and took the relay out to see if there are any leaks. Seems to be hunting while stationary

Sounds like dodgy connection or possibly dirty track on height sensor. The little pins where the driver pack connects sometimes need nipping up and cleaning.
