did an injector leak off test on my TD6 to check which injector was giving a bit of misfire, didn't clamp the return hose properly and managed to **** diesel on me block paving. but did find out it looks like no 1 and 3 are leaking back about twice as much as the others.which is a bit crap as no 1 was changed for a recon 18 months ago.

Become paranoid. Think the front right damper has **** the bed. Perfect timing for it... I wanted to replace the dampers with Terrafirma jobbies, but I'd never be able to get them until midnext week. Fingers crossed I can get some OEM jobbies from the landy dealer up road (or one of the many parts places around the area, ****part will do) tomorrow. If not I'm ****ered because I need my car for Monday morning. Bloody Land Rovers. Always picking the best time to fail.

Funfunfun.

Replaced ABS ECU, Took it to a Local Indy to recode the ECU to the car - never knew this Indy existed....really really nice chaps!

Bloody typical though, I was saving for a new bed (rock and roll baby) but it seems once again my stupid RR is going to spit her dummy. If they can't get OE dampers for me by Monday morning, I'll just order the Terrafirmas and limp around.

Holy****balls. That part is knackered out of the box. Perhaps I'll skip on ****part.

Just looks like the needle cap has moved. If it won't push back I bet one of the needle rollers has got stuck inside.

Why the need for a tin cap with a rubber seal when the cup could be longer with its rubber seal , not stuck just showing the cups tin lid !!

Looked on rave for the location of the crank sensor.

Are these things serviceable? Or is it just a new jobbie.

Also, rave is saying that there is a certain distance for it to be from the flywheel. But guess what, they don't tell you the measurement! :D:D

Well it turns out I can't get OE dampers until Tuesday at the earliest. So I've put in a order for Terrafirma front and rears (TF125 and TF126), hopefully they are in stock. £151 next day delivery. Probably won't get them until Tuesday either, but only reason I'd have used OE is if they could get them to me super quickly.

That's a bummer. Are the Terra's better than say Monroe or Borge? I want to do my shocks soon having covered 114 k

To be honest, I have no idea. I've been told the Terra's are better, so I decided to take a punt and give them a crack. I'll let people know how I get on if I can get a set, read on one webby Terra are on worldwide backorder with dampers so they are hard to get hold of. Supplier closed for the weekend now, so will find out on Monday if they can get them.
