I wouldn't say she never breaks down. However, since I started using Gibson's I haven't had anywhere near the hassles I had with friendly, well meaning, mechanics. I know that the job will be done well, I won't be ripped off and I can have coffee and cake whilst I wait.
What's not to like.
Yes wishing I had gone straight there, engine fault is back :(

Sorry to hear that, but most of us knew it was coming when your chap 'cleared' the faults. Clearing isn't fixing. At least you're with the right guys now. Go get cake and coffee, let them do what they do , and you'll leave happy.
Hmmmm, that sounded wrong, why hasn't @holidaychicken appeared
As if by magic..
i have no idea what the this part of the thread is about but cake, coffee and a happy finish after coming with a chap sounds like you have nothing to worry about. :)

Disassembled and cleaned EAS valve block preparatory to fitting new O rings. Shout to missis, "have we got any Vaseline in the house?"

To which the answer was, "what the f*** are you doing?"

What do you want Vaseline for? It certainly should not be used in the valve block:eek:
Hope you marked everything up so it goes back together correctly.

There is a lot of duff info on the web. I've done a lot of EAS work and would never use Vaseline on the O rings.
It's the first EAS I've ever done but I've rebuilt a fair amount of pneumatic equipment down the years. We'll see how it goes if it doesn't pour down tomorrow.

Better than I expected fitment for the brand. Be orange by summer no doubt, could do with a tart up like you said, burn marks from the welds. Have to take some pics of the dents it came with :D
Full cat back system £78 I’m happy :)
