Fitted my 1.5m cb antenna. Fixed an electrical fault. ... Well yeah it was my fault cos I disco exited an earth / immobiliser wire when I fitted central locking controller.. But all working again now..

Fitted some wiring to allow the eas data cable i bought from Datatek to connect to my rangey.. Just got to test it now...

Fit cb tomorrow, and test eas lead..
 
Changed the serpentine belt, the air-con belt and the air-con belt tensioner, then the rain came.... great timing :rolleyes: took 1 hour..... who said 10 mins???

Yea up and down now like a goodun m8, have had no problems at all (tempting fate) as long as I keep up with it (hence the changing of the belts and tensioner) it seems all fine, it was only cracking on the inside of the belts (where the ridges are) but did it anyway... just a few ££, you worked your magic that day.... tnx

Glad all is well with it....you certainly look after your P38, and its condition and under the bonnet is testament to that...keep up the great work Dopey...:):cool::)
 
Fixed a warning message that has flashed up on the dash since I got it but newbieness at the time and laziness on my part meant it has never been fixed. Some genius couldn't read an instruction manual so ground to the wrong place, causing the BeCM to throw a EAS error at first striking before going away. Moved the ground to where it belongs and the message has gone away.
 
Did a bit of green-laning (byways) around the Hertford/Brickenham area, the General Grabber ATs coped admirably with the very muddy conditions.
 
changed the bolts that hold my back lights into cross head screws as read a thread on ffrr about people being able to get them undone if theyre the normal hex ones and knicking the lights...
 
Fitted my cb, a new cigarette lighter / aux socket, and polished the wheels and a few bits under the bonnet, also cleaned some connectors under the dash as speakers Werner working properly...
 
Drove it home after buying it. Alas I fear one of the rear wheel bearings failed on the jolly home. Hayho such is life. :eek:
 
Chopped the exhaust off the spares dog, section from the cat to the centre box was full and I mean full of water so it has a cracked head or HGF although it has never overheated on me. Pipe fell off the centre box when I got it off, so a waste of effort. Looking for a stainless cat back system now. Needs to last longer than I will LOL.
