These is my pegs I bought then for 50p each. Come in handy for all sorts, they are pretty strong

I think I have fixed the drivers side bonnet catch (again) took it off/out cleaned it all out, grease it up a little, and it is locking in and keeping it down again

I did give it a good clean with the de greaser, I think that got it all, cleaned it till it ran clear at the back

You need to take out the screws about eight or nine of them to get at the mesh. Took bloody ages to get mine clean inside the cover.

Good thing is, the cam is perfect, no wear or marks on it at all

They just don't fail unlike V8 cams that are made of hard cheese. You may however sometimes get a faint line on a tappet face. The cams are off set from tappet centre so in use the tappets rotate slowly to even out wear.

Oil changed and handbrake adjusted as I hadn't quite slackened it off enough after last weekend.
