I just recharged the 12v battery for 36 hours (its one of them auto ones where it wont over charge) dont know why but the lock unlock on the fob seems to work a lot better now.... strange it would effect that

Went into the garage and checked she was still under the cover. Fired her up :).
Left her running for 30mins, no issues.

Not strange at all, ECU's and CDL motors require power, if the battery is low, the motors can be sluggish.

Discovered FOB #2 (wife's FOB) on my daily driver lights up but no longer unlocks the car and will not resync, no LED flash when placed in the ignition. Strange as that's the exact same problem I have with the spare FOB on my project car. Batteries are good.

Took it for its mot, and it passed with a few advisory's front indicator bulbs a bit white a bit of play in one of the front anti roll bar drop links only a year old and hardly any milage and a bit of rust on rear brake lines so time to drop tank and replace the lot

They seem to want to put some **** on advisories to cover themselves these days. See what happens next year. The brake pipes have been advisories on mine 3 years running. On the jag the drag links had play last year but not this year? :-/

I will have a good look at them, but I am thinking that they are 21 years old and not getting any better, I can do them myself on the drive just need fittings have everything else and dropping the tank I can change the intank pump while its out.

Replaced the in tank fuel pump and both sender units, 2 hours start to finish, the unit I had replaced previously by an approved Landrover workshop had stopped reading the fuel level correctly, I diagnosed this down to the P/S sender not being plugged into the pump unit fully and over time (14 months) the connection has worked loose, this was evident when I removed the unit
