Sorry, my neighbour helped and he works for the local Landy garage. He calls the steering tie rods drumsticks and as I had been calling them that all day, I posted without thinking...

Don't worry about it, we were going to blame Grrrrr anyway :p

Got the perished seal and hoses fixed on my lpg system so it all works fine again. Drives really well on lpg but leaked gas badly - noticeably strong smell at traffic lights. No leaks or smells now.

One job ticked off plenty more to do

Exactly what I thought......for a millisecond! Then I thought about LPG boats and decided that a random solitary firework display at least half a mile off-shore and lasting all of half a second would be, hilarious:D
He born, he lived , he gone.....he definitely gone.

Don't smoke in your bilges. LPG loves bilges.

So do petrol fumes. Anything fitted with an inboard petrol engine should have extractor fans to purge the bilges before the engine is started. ;)

bashed around in the mud in the forest out front then went along side the new auto route on the newly turned over ground. FREE off roading, that's what we like!
