Refitted my centre box delete pipe not because I'm a hooligan and love the v8 sound, burbly on the over run etc but because iv long suspected iv got a blocked cat drivers sideside.

I'm getting a pulse threw the floor drivers side, on the motorway it seemed to struggle a bit and oddly enuf my drivers side door mirror would vibrate over 60 and the mpg went down. Now iv fitted the straight threw centre pipe mpg is back where it should be no more vibrating mirror and it goes like stink again not struggling at all.

The annoying thing is iv got new front down pipes sitting here but they have holes for 12mm o2 seasons and mine are 18mm sensors I will proberbly drill them out and tap them to take the 18mm sensors, it came with x1 sensor fitted12mm type. The other was damaged beyond use, bugger.

Oddly, i've just taken the 'hooligan' pipe off & put the centre box back on. It was fun at first but coupled with the janspeed rear boxes it was getting too droney on the motorway. Seems smoother now & I can listen out for the next thing about to break!

Last Monday replaced a mates P38 oil burner's blown rear air bag on the road side with a second hand one.
Yesterday replaced all 4 air springs, hockey stick bushes, drag links, ARB bushes and links (not sure about the britpart ANR1000 nuts lowered torque to 100nm as they don't seem to as good quality as the original LR ones) .

Today on my P38 V8 replaced the Heater matrix (replaced the o rings a couple of weeks ago but still leaky leaky)
So did the Audi A6 mod no more o rings and relocated my vaporiser so I can get to the spark plugs without spending a extra 10 mins unbolting it in the future.

This is the A6 matrix before I connected the hoses, managed to cut the old matrix so I could use the original fixings.

The left hand bag was the spare Second hand Dunlop I had to get her back, the other 3 are all original LR 2000 Dunlop Bags do you think they have shrunk with age or unlike every thing else you buy these days the new bags have grown bigger.

The only sacrifice cut with a generic dremel, was going to weld back in place but decided to make plates and bolt back into position makes it easier to get to the blend motor.

Bizarre. Don't remember any difference when I did my bags a few years ago. I usually hold parts side by side before fitting to make sure no mistakes when ordering.

Bit difficult with air bags though as they as supposed to be fitted folded. ;)
