Might as well as the player bit the dirt years ago. Same with the video player yet I have a stack of vhs and betamax tapes.
Give them to Dopey. He can unravel them and use them as streamers on the twin fifteen foot aerials he is sure to be fitting shortly.

Rangey has been feeling a bit un-loved recently, since being forced in to early retirement due to the recent arrival of a young EU immigrant, so took advantage of the good weather to give a good clean over the weekend.
Took the old tint of the rear passenger windows, which was not my idea of fun.... the tint (which I never really liked anyway) had deteriorated badly, and at first I thought I'd been lucky and got most of it off in one piece.... only to discover the fine layer of glue which was a right pain to remove. Glad I had plenty of acetone to hand!
Today replaced the rear ABS sensor, which I'd been avoiding for weeks after the hassle I had doing the front one.... although in this case it just slid straight out with no issues. I did have to drill out a couple of bolts on the mud guard to get access, so job for tomorrow to put that back on.
