Took it for its MOT,..........PASSED:}no advisories said it was very clean underneath, so will check all oil levels.
 
Well, yesterday I had ABS fault and Traction failure flash up. Brake pedal was staying down and then springing back a second or so later so figured air in there somewhere.

Tonight I went out to bleed the brakes. No sooner had I started than the snow and rain started. Got to the last part of the procedure (2/3rds travel on the N/S front) and the bl**dy battery went flat. Soaked through, freezing and generally naffed off. Battery on charge. Will start from scratch tomorrow when I've dried out and warmed up a bit. I've had enough of this weather. And I want a big garage with a four poster in it!
 
Its me p38 not l322 wrong suffix at the start of the thread, gonna have a proper look today starting with a new relay as I suspect the spare may also be faulty was previously the blower relay

The missus hasn't locked you out of the house has she Grrrrrr ? A camp bed will suffice, it won't be forever.:) Least I've got the caravan on the drive when I'm in the doghouse. (often) :D:D:D:D
 
Changed a reverse light bulb, that's the second bulb in 11 years of ownership. It's eating them.:D:D

Only bulb issue I've ever had is the front indicators and that isn't the bulb but the connection corroded by so much crap flying up.
 
when most people are moaning about bad weather i welcome it so i can go for a drive. so i did yesterday halifax where there was a little water and snow a bit of road flooding. it was great with the hard rain thrashing down. the wipers going, loved it and today just a drive out while it was raining came home when stopped. now when its dry ill clean and polish again oh the joys, its terrible having a range rover. cant wait till weather is sunny for a week cause im going under to wax the chassis

Brakes re-bled with full battery charge and all is back to normal. And thanks to MrGorsky popping up the b*st*rd bolt is off and the bumper with it ... and then back on again because the hole-saw that came with the parking sensors was made out of jelly. Pretty much melted as soon as it hit the metal. So, new hole-saw required and so another week lost.

well washed the body down dryed it then managed to polish and wax the bonnet then the snow kept having a flutter so i stopped ill have another go monday.

I went through 3 of them doing the first 2 holes on mine. One and a bit holes per cutter, the steel inner bumper is very heavy gauge. The last drill I used was a TCT broaching cutter, MUCH better!
 
Fitted new abs pump rubber mounts.
Bonnet release cable next on the list followed by the r380 gearlever bush, springs and plate, the one that sets the gate for 3rd and 4th gear.
Currently like stirring a bowl of porridge that is only slightly thicker than water.

Damned if I could get the selector box bolts out on mine. Replaced the whole thing in the end. Got the old one in a box in my shed ready for refurb of those springy things ... and there it has been for at least 2 years.
