My wife and I paid a visit to the lizard last week, I go there just to have one of Ann's famous party's , can't believe how busy It gets there now, any way funny you should say that I did spot a blue Rangie with a lot of bling on it on the way there from our camp site in Truro , could be the same one, mind you over the course of our two week holiday I only spotted two P38 s all together, plenty of L322 and I saw a couple on the back of brake down vehicles.

That'd be Ann Summers, presumably? All I've seen is pasties, ice-cream and beer!

Morning Brian,
We always stay at Carnon Downs camp site, have been staying there for years now, it's nice and qiute, very clean and has good size pitches. I like it because you are central to most of Cornwall and there is the Shell garage two minutes away!!!!

Sorry Grrrr, supposed to say pastys, it's this poxy I pad never says what you type.

I think you can turn off the predictive text. Never really played with an iPad though.

I like that cafe on the point. The fry-up breakfast is superb. In fact, that might be just the cure for the after-affects of the beer festival last night. Time to wander down!

nice site stayed there a couple of times, know what you mean about the pitches not on top of each other, we like the jubilee pitches.

Took the beast for an MOT and passed with flying colours, and treated it to a gearbox oil change and me poxy hozelock pump broke, so I had to do it the trusty gravity method and this is how I did it.

Just changed the ABS sensor on the OS Front wheel, what a PITA. Rusted in solid! Had to drill it all out in the end. No ABS / TC lights now though so happy bunny. I've had it with rusted in parts for a while though after last weeks airspring change.

I tried your method of filling a gearbox at work today. If the guys didn't need their wagon back in a hurry I think it would have been prefect. But it did seem to be slightly sluggish. Haha. In the end I use some old hydraulic hose, the end of a silicone gun trimmed to fit as a funnel and a water bottle glued on the end. Same sketch (hung it from the bonnet) but too 5 minutes to drain a litre. Rather than 5 minutes to drain about 5ml.

sluggish ??? as in changing gears or filling..

Filling. Just didn't have the time. Although by the time I found the parts to make a different setup, probably would have taken just as long. Haha
Ha I see, its more controllable that way watching it dribble out the level hole and checking the oil temp at the same time...

I had a drip tray under the fill hole and since the tax payer pays for the oil a bit of waste isn't a huge problem. Just left it going until it spilled. But the new box oil from Texaco comes in squirt bottles, so we've started ordering that now. Won't need a bodge anymore.

Still a bitch to get the nozzle in the hole though.;)
