Which does not stop condensation forming in the electronics.I have the expensive upgrade in my veh , one x plastic bag
Bought it...
You could have cleaned it while you had it off martyn
If you used the over braided leak off pipe, melt the cut ends of the braid with a lighter to seal them. Stops fray back and I think will stop the tube end splitting as has happened twice on mine in a very short time.Replaced leak off pipes (again) and the fuel cut off valve. Good job I had a new set of inlet gaskets because one was missing!!!!!

Amazing isn't it? My Transit has 158K miles and the leak off pipes are original and perfect, my P38 has 118K miles and I have replaced the leak off pipes 3 times in 6 years, first time with silicone pipe, not good as it stank of diesel despite no visible leaks, now two lots of pukka leak off pipes. Crap design again.I will try that Keith, thanks. I keep changing suppliers in case the pipe quality is different but they all seem to have a short working life.
Yeah i had to replace the leak off pipes on my last one, bought the stuff from Island 4x4 and 3 months later it failed the mot on fuel leaking from engine.
At first the garage diagnosed leaking FP, then on investigation it was the leak off pipes that had swollen, garage changed them FOC for some stuff they swear by and all was good.
Can u find out what pipe they use because mine are becoming a service item.
Went to check with my mate Diesel Dave and he tells me to use PU tube as its highly chemical resistant and will not degrade / swell. Also resilient t Bio fuel apparently.
Very kind of you, thanks. Any idea of a supplier? sorry to be a pain.
Not one for the purists but i fitted my RRS side steps to the DSE, quite a simple task in the end bit of cutting and welding all done in 2 hours.
Smartens it up and gives me the steps back for the kids.
