Well back in my old rangie after being in the disco 3. For some reason he didnt want to do a permanent swap :(

Lucky escape for you then:rolleyes::):)

Cracking motor it was actually 80k on the clock so half the rangie but felt like a brand new motor compared. some bloody fancy heater for the water and sensors everywhere had a fair bit of poke about it too. Quite enjoyed it. Didnt take it in anyfields as he wouldn't be too best pleased with a spek of mud on it haha. Good to be back in my 19year old rangie with my own comforts and layer of mud. Is it that bad he actually cleaned the seats and hoovered it out before he went off in it

A 500 mile round trip. Driven in the outside lane on motorways, across fields, through a shallow river, up a grassy bank (yes, IanWallace, it can be done!) and back down A roads and motorways, all without missing a beat and in relative comfort. Not many cars can do that now, let alone one from 20 years ago.

Found I did have a Sun roof cover it had just been pushed very far back because the fabric was mouldy dirty and sagging to the point it was only heals on at the sides. I just ripped it off it may be black plastic now but looks much better than before. I don't want to drop the head lining to recover the sun roof so need to think about what to do now:-
A leave as is
B paint in a similar colour to head lining
C retrim in fabric
D something else

Is it just me... or...

Nothing to do with Rangies, but my 29 year old Toyota MR2 just passed it's MOT with no advisories:bounce::bounce: P38 next month, got the front brakes to see to first.

Looked at it, covered in Bird turd. so wiped off the worst. getting down, it's just sitting there. Got loads to do and been stripping down an old transit injection pump, to see how it all works and whether I can change the dammed thing back to common sense diesels. Learned a lot from the pump. Maybe possible to return to a accelerator cable. The VE pump is simple, amazed at the construction. The electronics are the problem.

Fitted my new window regulater success :) and reconnected my handbrake and new leather gator on

That was fellas girlfriend haha thats **** out boot of his car we cleared up of corse he had tried to get one wheel on the box and failed.
