Windsor is lovely. The only problem is, it looks over Slough!
Slough

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!
Come, bombs and blow to smithereens
Those air -conditioned, bright canteens,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans,
Tinned minds, tinned breath.

Mess up the mess they call a town-
A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half a crown
For twenty years.

And get that man with double chin
Who'll always cheat and always win,
Who washes his repulsive skin
In women's tears:

And smash his desk of polished oak
And smash his hands so used to stroke
And stop his boring dirty joke
And make him yell.

But spare the bald young clerks who add
The profits of the stinking cad;
It's not their fault that they are mad,
They've tasted Hell.

It's not their fault they do not know
The birdsong from the radio,
It's not their fault they often go
To Maidenhead

And talk of sport and makes of cars
In various bogus-Tudor bars
And daren't look up and see the stars
But belch instead.

In labour-saving homes, with care
Their wives frizz out peroxide hair
And dry it in synthetic air
And paint their nails.

Come, friendly bombs and fall on Slough
To get it ready for the plough.
The cabbages are coming now;
The earth exhales.

I fixed my central locking the drivers door wasn't working off the remote every time. So off with the door card to have a look and tried lock and it worked. It turned out the rod for the button was bent, straighten out and now it's working spot on whoop whoop. Next tackled the aftermarket reverse sensors and rerouted the wires so the all run behind the trIm, still need a bit of work to get them fitting in the rear bumper properly they are only half fitted. Quick trip to the breakers sourced a temp sensor plug so soldering that on is tomorrows job. Found a split on the end of a cruise control pipe so cut that out and reattached.

Took saddles out and then locked it up again and left it at home all day so its probs sulking with me lol

Aye it is nice but everyday past the castle rush hour. And knowing the not so pretty side of Berkshire

Picked my '98 4.6 up from the local indy having treated her to a full major service, double S 200 cell cats, Janspeed stainless steel exhaust, new plugs and HT leads.
Very pleased with the new exhaust, sounds great much better than the old standard ones :)

Often considered the 200 cell cats with my Janspeed. How's it sound on the motorway?

Yes louder. Nice deep loud V8 burble on acceleration yet quiet and unintrusive at crusing speeds.

Had a leak by drivers side A post, lifted the plastic trim on the roof, cleaned out the crap and applied silicon sealant allong the weld line. Rained all night and this morning it was still dry so fingers crossed its sorted for now.

New gearstick and handbrake gaiters fitted.

On another project (not my vehicle!) reconnected the heater hoses and got the LPG running ... and discovered the o-rings leak like Niagra Falls. Add that list to the bottom.
