Had a blowout of a water feed pipe to the heater matrix, in the engine bay. Steam and smoke everywhere. Very scary view out the rear view. Two flat bed pick ups and an AA patrol, there's 6 hours I won't get back. Anyhoo, got a new one from The Landrover centre, cut to fit, new clamps, new anti freeze and all is well. Fitted a new steering damper while I was in the mood, trying to reduce the ridiculous tram lining. No discernible difference. One thing ruled out though.

Tramlining will be tyres, ball joints, track rod, drag link etc.

I shouted at mine - it arbitrarily raised it self to max height after going around a min-roundabout. Again. And again. And again....

I *will* find the fault - it has to be a dodgy connector somewhere....

Mine did that yesterday, never done it before or since. I put it down to Friday the 13th.Fingers crossed:)

Sounds like a height sensor fooling the ECU into thinking the car has grounded.
