The fluid sensor can fail in the reservoirNot fluid level. It was first thing I checked and mechanic checked too. Handbrake goes off, brake system doesn't. It's all poiting to a sensor/wire.

She only recently started creaking from rear when the air suspension is settling after parking up.
Did it start after you had the brakes done? My handbrake was crap but the local indi fitted new discs and pads and got it working properly. What about if you just stick it in park without the handbrake until it's settled?Lots of hills around here
Improved my fuel economy by fixing a leaking feed pipe to the HP fuel pump, 2 hours removing the intake manifold tightening a jubilee clip and putting it back together. Would have been quicker if I'd had cake. My drive will appreciate it as well (not cake obv)

Nope. Brakes and discs done a while before creaking started. I'll try just park and see if it makes a difference

Is the handbrake on the wheel? As the car changes height there's bound to be a little rotation on the axis where the axle would be.
