When I had 3 ribs busted, about an inch from the spine at mid shoulder blade height, I couldn't drive or ride for nearly 4 months. Did discover that for me a couple of squares of decent dark chocolate and one paracetamol was nicer, more effective and less side effects than 2 paracetamol.
Luckily(?) mine ar cracked at the front so still have good mobility at the moment. 4 days in hospital resting with morphine and paracetemol seems to be doing the trick.

Pants! Shiny new front screen didn't last long. Not cracked or chipped but pebble dashed when a lorry went past. Now the wipers leave lines :(
Never had that before
Hi kermit_rr 😊 could I ask if you don't mind the ball park figure you paid for a new screen? Can you get them reseated as the screen is in good nick but the rubber seal looks a bit iffy in places.

i think it was £100 excess on the insurance
they can remove the glass without cracking it, but it might depend how long its been bonded
i'm not sure what you mean by rubber seal? screens have been bonded for decades, what car is it?

It's an 02 and have plenty of history but no screen replacement invoices? I will see if I can get a picture of the seal I was talking about.

Just been outside and noticed my new replacement top trim fitted by autoglass is barely attached, the leading edge has a 10mm gap between it and the new screen. Lifting it slightly , I can see the clips on the roof studs are there but not attached to the trim. Can't find a local number to call only the call centre which I've made a complaint to. 3 to 5 working days to respond she said but to call them back if I hear nothing. Rubbish customer service from autoglass especially as I'm so easy going.

I had this issue when mine was replaced. 3 times they 'fixed' it. It still isn't quite right, but at least water can't get in. I'll go elsewhere when a truck decides to crack it again.

Get onto them get it sorted. 10mm is probably enough to rip it off in the wind on bypass/motorway. They aren’t easy to find

The trim nearly came off yesterday when I hit 50mph and as I've heard nowt from autoglass I decided to fix it my self this morning. Only 1 clip and the pillar trims were holding it on, the adhesive strip which is supposed to fix the lower edge to the screen wasn't stuck at all.
Pic below before I started work. It gets worse, more pics to follow.
