I can imagine the conversations about fuel economy with you:
Stuu: Yeah, I don't really care about the economy of it, I like it.
Them: Suppose it doesn't matter if you drive it gently or don't go far?
Stuu: "Hold my fuel pump nozzle while I hang 3.5t on the back of this thing!"
See my man maths works well, to do driftland and back 350mile round trip, with my car and wheels and tools, my td6 would be a tank of diesel, this is a tank of petrol, fuel light comes on about 15miles earlier,
The td6 would drop 4th a lot and sit up the revs a bit or locking it in 5th would be labouring, the 4.2 itl drop to 5th on hills then sit in 6th on the flats at 60 under 2000 revs, its really quiet to tow with that way,
If i do my unit its 4 miles each way, td6 would take near that to warm up,
I do actually miss my old td6 at times after 80k miles in the same motor i should have just kept it aside,
At 22 my mpg would average out on the td6 over say a weeks use vs 18 this gets while you behave its not actually enough to notice the difference,
Amazingly that picker is lighter then a RR at 2.2T and trailer itself is 800kgs on weigh bridge
