I think by the time I get to it it'll be bloody dry but maybe there will be traces if that the case. 🤔

It is a good point and I suppose it is the easier of the two to assess between that and the pump. I'm going to check the pump plug and the plug under the header tank for any Corrosion 🤔
The reason I wonder about the throttle pot is due to a little test I did. If I increase the idle speed via diagnostics, it has no effect on the MIL light problem, however when I stuck a piece of card on the throttle stop, it raised the idle speed a tad like the diagnostics adjustment, but the MIL light stopped flashing. It's not a definitive test as the MIL light doesn't always flash on mine.

Wasn't there an issue with the Nanocom WABCO-D module swapping the sides over sometimes? Maybe even an update fixed it at so e stage. MartyUK might have mentioned it.
I didn't notice that issue on mine all appeared to be correctly labelled
