I hate disabled busses, how do they get around if they are disabled? You need a minimum of 8 points in the mobility section of PIP and you qualify for Blue Badge and disabled bus pass

It's those square tyres that does itI hate disabled busses, how do they get around if they are disabled?
With or without the loom? Has Mark got one on his scrapper?Took the front right height sensor of the car as diagnostics had flagged a fault with it. Tested on the bench, it has a dead spot that probably equates to normal ride height. More expense
Without the loom. Marks scrapper has the earlier sensor as does my scrapper. Need the newer version for MY2000 (post 97)With or without the loom? Has Mark got one on his scrapper?
I've only got the early ones otherwise I would have sent one.Without the loom. Marks scrapper has the earlier sensor as does my scrapper. Need the newer version for MY2000 (post 97)

Without the loom? @Henry_b did a how to to check if it works Jack.I’ve got one you can have but it’s 95
No certainty it works but rears still did.
Yep all they are is a potentiometer used as a potential divider.Without the loom? @Henry_b did a how to to check if it works Jack.
Quite possible knowing the DVLA to allow it to slip through the net. You should have left it and took your chances. LOLDuchess came with disabled in the log book, I just changed it along with the new owner(me), no issues.
However...the previous owner had died so maybe that had a bearing... dunno.
Keep fighting Alan i sayI was registered disabled due to injuries received in a RTA in1996,25 years later when the arthritis is really kicking in ,at the stroke of a pen I no longer qualify, the cnut at the DWP should go work for the NHS his name must be Jesus Christ. I gave up after fighting for years as the PTSD raised it's ugly head again.
If you convert to Islam Alan and sail over on a dingie they will give you EVERYTHING mate. Worth a try. Thanks for the offer Mike been down that route as far as court. They decided I did indeed have arthritis and irrecoverable brain damage from the strokes but wouldn't budge. Good job I'm not on the bones of my arse. The Local Authority decided I qualified for the blue badge which is a God send.
Think the dingy bit it optional so long as we follow the gov requests to convertIf you convert to Islam Alan and sail over on a dingie they will give you EVERYTHING mate. Worth a try.
That's a very kind thought Alan. However your earlier post set me thinking. I'm going to try and crawl under the scrapper and remove the front left sensor in the hope I may be able to modify it to fit so thanks again.I've only got the early ones otherwise I would have sent one.
It's quite funny really, my wife is French, post Brexit she could not come with me if I wished to return to live in the yUK, Fortunately I have no intention of returning but if the need arose, WW3 for example, I would sail back and claim asylumIf you convert to Islam Alan and sail over on a dingie they will give you EVERYTHING mate. Worth a try.

I've edited your post Henry, the resistance figure is 2K ohms (2000) not 2 ohmsYep all they are is a potentiometer used as a potential divider.
You need a multimeter on the resistance setting.
#1 There are 3 pins, the centre pin in the sweeper and the two outer ones are the tracks
#2 With the multimeter put the leads on the inner/outer pins, you should see a resistance reading of around 2K ohms, if you get an open circuit the sensor is junk..
#3 ideally you need 3 arms for this bit, this time put one lead on the centre post and another on either of the outer pins, then using your 3rd arm slowly run the sensor through the entirety of its travel, you should see a consistent resistance going both ways, however if the resistance jumps around or you get an open circuit at any point then that is your issue.
