Have you checked the multiplug is plugged in properly?
My dash went off once soon after i had it out.. got the dash back out again and all was well, never investigated further

Do you mean the button for resetting the odometer? If so, that doesn't turn at all. There is nothing else there. I don't recall it ever having done so in the 3 years I have owned the car and this issue has only started in the last month. I reset the odometer every time I refill with LPG, which is pretty much every week.

Oops, I was talking L322 not P38 :oops::rolleyes:

Nuffin, nothin', nothing. She is sitting plugged into the mains on a trickle charge, waiting for a replacement lock.
For those who don't live with a hyper-vigilant L322, she is on the trickle charge to stop her constant security checks finding the unlocked door, and draining the battery :(

Is there an accessible (yes I know it is a P38) multiplug for the column stalks? If so disconnect and multimeter across the right pins should allow you to test continuity / action of the dimmer switch?

If that checks out OK, logic says that getting the pins out of the connector block and temporarily bridging them together should give you full brightness if nothing else? Or check for voltage and narrow down which wiring section the problem is in?

I'll see what I can track down in RAVE for this.

Cyclists.
Damn animals!
Ummmmm please Sir , can I be excused that description? :(
The Golden Girl still awaits her lock. So I went for a jaunt in alternative transport IMG_20210722_183713.jpg
Although I think it is related to Land Rover , as I had to fix it before using!
