Mate of mine showed us his sockets and torque wrench from his works many years ago. He worked at a firm that did control valves and stuff for oil and nuclear installations, and production line automation equipment. Their biggest socket was about 8 inches, I think a 2" square drive, the wrench used was rated to just over 400lb/ft and was used with a 4:1 gearing multiplier as it had to be tightened to 1600lb/ft!

Should be ok for spark plugs and oil filters then
Might not be enough. May need to go bigger, much bigger. :D

Just fixed the CD player, yet again. One of the CD slides had stuck. Tried everything to,get it to go back to right place, tweezers, screwdrivers, etc. Then tried playing around with fuses. Nothing. Decided to take all CD and radio related fuses out, switch all power off, then back in and power on.
Tada! It moved. However, unit wouldn't eject  I faffed and I fuffed, and I faffed again. Nothing! Motor was whirring but no joy. During all of this I was also messing with cassette as it kept throwing up an error.
So , I gave the CD unit a break whilst I went to deal with the tape. 4 or 5 rejections later , suddenly the tape is working. Yaaay.
Back to the CD unit. I press eject and out it comes like it had never refused to, glaring at me balefully.
I now have a working CD unit and tape player. These vehicles are buggers o_O:D

Now you just need a museum to lend you some sea-dee's and some 'tape' :D

My cd cartridge often sticks, probably from lack of use, but do find with gentle tap with a soft hammer as pressing button works well:D

I I do need to get a pneumatic grease gun.
Shave the end of the connector down for P38 makes it 3x easier

Packed myself up for my overnighter holiday.. put in all the tools and fluid etc i think i might need, only i haven't got room for my tent!! Or sleeping bag!! Or any food!!
Lived in mine for bit. Is plenty room once you get organised. Didn’t have tent either put the double seats down and slide liner up.

Sills been rubbed down, red leaded and painted black. Light unit got fixed in true RR fashion - turned up with the threat of a new bulb and it miraculously started working again! Can’t complain really have spare bulb now?
So I’m all done just have to book In for MOT, cut the garden fence down and away to go

My LPG tank is across the boot behind the seats.. not a huge issue until you do the seats down

I was cursing the designer upside down. They have to be some special kind of idiot, to put a CD multi-changer in the glove compartment, unable to be removed unless you take the dash out. Who, the $&%*, thought that was clever!

Oh yes couple of wiper blades and headlight alignment while it was in, anxiety is over today.
