Further to ongoing saga......... drove her....... to friendly truck mechanic. He used the i930 and after a bit of 'computer says no', he got limited readings. Luckily one was the EAS and the rear right sensor is knackered. Spent ten minutes waiting for it to give some other answer it was thinking about , but gave up and unplugged.
I still don't know which one Gibson's uses but will ask, at some point.
The question is: is @Wazzajnr going to get my pocket money this month tenor.gif

Right, if the icarsoft works on your car then the Foxwell will and maybe do more still think if all you want to do is read and clear faults then its the one to go for. Had you been down the A1 any time soon I would have meet you at Newark on Trent and plugged mine in for you.

It worked, but according to mechanic, not to the extent it works on other Land Rovers that he has used it on. It took a few attempts to get it to talk .
I'm looking for something that reads, resets, clears. All without arguing first :) When I say I'm rural I mean rural. My nearest town of any type is almost 3hrs away. My nearest specialist around 4hrs. Nearest garage who will even stick any type of diagnostics, has no idea , about Range Rovers, and admits it freely. My friendly, truck mechanic, can take a week or two to find a space to try to help. Recovery, most often can't turn up the same day. In winter , they might not even show up the same week.
So as the Golden Girl gets older and help gets thinner on the ground I need something that will do what AA or garage can do . As in today, if it is a part failure, it gives the full message, rather than wanting to tell more but not getting there.
Sorry to be really picky about this , but I need to get it right first time. :(

How far are you from StuStrong? Could you pop over and see what the Inpa software does?

Thanks so much but I missed the one off. I'm apptox 14hrs round trip from you.
It really is a kind off though.

Got system read, and reset today.
Anyone know what this means, measures approx as it is several hours and an emergency vet visit since readings, : both front sensors reading around 3 volt. Rear left 1.7 approx, rear right, which had dropped 0.6 approx.

Not sure about th V8 but on diesel they are silly money. Half the reason people **** up adapt to electric fans. You need it though, perhaps it will behave betterer with a new one, you have mentioned the sporadic heat anomaly since you’ve had it.
