Do they flush as well? Didn't no they did anything more than top-up

They'll put fresh oil in and recover the old as part of the regas. My indie does anyway. Normally it is the condenser that leaks.

I've not had a condenser fitted for a long time, there could be all sorts floating about

I've got a new condenser and dryer ready to go on

Started the scrapper; first time this year. Took a few goes but once going ran perfectly. Brakes took a long while to firm up. That gave me a bit of a shock as I was already moving in LOW and struggled to stop it!

Most likely just a bot of moisture and the dryer will sort that. Hopefully there was enough oil to prevent rust.

Vacuum will sort the moisture too.
No need to extract the old/ancient oil? No idea how much is in, if any

Part of the regas is they extract everything in your system, run it through a filter to clean it, then put it back with extra where needed. But they'll charge you as though they put in all new. So if they extract 450g from a 500g system, they'll bill you for 500g.

Cheers, RAVE made it sound complicated, with so many ounces of oil in the compressor and another amount in the condenser

Fit the new bits they should vacuum test it first,if it holds vacuum they then add the appropriate ammount of oil and gas.

Finally took a proper look at what was done two weeks ago

As well as what is on pic, they also fixed the incredibly irritating intermittent handbrake warning. At some point someone has been incredibly heavy handed, and put enough pressure through it to bend the plate

CD player replaced and seems happy now

Front track rod and track rod assembly replaced. I knew something was off but couldn't get under to see. The difference is quite noticeable . Yaay
New latches on lower tailgate, and trim sorted.

Now I just need to see about the A/C. New unit and regas needed

Could be worse. Could be Saudi without A/C , rather than Scotland

All in all good job and Golden Girl at 19yrs old still looks great

We used to do that sort of thing but turned out more trouble and expense than anything. Plus they always had events early in the year so was always bad weather. The secret society here still has a meet in London annually.
