If you are chipping it, change the oil and filter if you have an auto box. the extra torque of the chipped engine is likely to shorten the life of the gearbox.

Started the P38 up this morning to go to work, got the eas error and the 4 lights lit. Anyway, leaving work everything went back to normal.

Put on a very good Bosch battery as I have to take my RR for a road trip tomorrow and though I should go with the better of my two batteries. It connected no problems, didn't need to resync key and it is the first time in a long time (easily over a year) that it started without any struggle. Happy days, I took her for a quick sprint around the block, got back home and noticed lights were flickering, turned off engine, the horn pipped then everything went dark.

Uhoh, I think, pop bonnet and I see the live cable had popped off the battery, reconnected everything (placed a slither of lead in the pos term to pack it out so everything nipped up nicely), came to lock up and I noticed "KEYCODE LOCKOUT" damn thing had **** the bed and locked itself down. So I'ma get some scoff down me and try again, should be about 45 minutes since the lockout message so hopefully it'll accept the EKA code.

Bloody things.

Fitted some nice Vogue interior trim upgrades to my HSE. Found a guy local to me in Deal Kent that breaks P38s, and got lots of stuff for a good price. Looks much better and newer now.

Today I checked the battery voltage, spotted an empty pipe to the f.i.p , posted on here , then sodded off out for a change .......tomorrow is another day

Regulator arrived & now fitted. Noticed the failed one had replaced the original, do these really go that often?
Anyway, i now have a set window, no beeps.....for now!

Not a lot, if I'm honest. I took her for a drive, picked up a new HDMI cable so I can run both of my monitors and now I'm enjoying some Batman. Oh yeah, nerding it up big time. :D
