New oil in and on my trip to work I did note the engine sounded better, with the 10w60 Edge it had a slight top end rattle even when hot, which I didn't like..

With the new 10w40 it is back to being near silent! ;)

Very happy with that, a right result..

well worth the freezing.. ;)

Oh and the old stuff 4000mi old.

Lower arms and inner and outer track rod ends done. Recalibrate of the height.
Got clever and put a small grinder mark on each hub knuckle and central on the front subframe so apon refitting could measure center to hub and hub to hub to get alignment near enough. (measured before removal)
Drove straight wheel sat straight.
Off to alignment all was in the green showing 0.03 left 0.05 right. Admittly a lot more luck then skill but didnt want to trash my front tyres.

Took the family and dog out for a run around the countryside (staying within our county and jot leaving the car!) and she performed brilliantly.

Need to swap out the DVD player for something I can stream to for the wee one though.

I cannot remember the teacher's name but I do remember him coming in and saying it wasn't funny to **** on the ceiling. I just remember thinking it was funny and a) it wasn't me and b) untill he mentioned it I would never have thought of ****ing on the ceiling.
