Lucky you didn’t pull the front end off :D

Pulled it out backwards!

Funnily enough I said handbrake off, gearbox neutral? Yes, came the response. Slipped it in low 1 and eased forward. Got out once the car was at the top of the rise on the hard stuff and it turned out either the handbrake wasn't off or it was in drive as apparently no wheels had rotated as I dragged it out.

Towed a Kia Sportage out of the mud. Seems they thought they had an off-roader!
Like the young couple who live opposite me, they were sold a Nissan Juke and told it would be great in snow. After towing them up the hill where we live they asked why mine worked in snow and theirs didn't. Its amazing how you can explain a Juke is crap in a polite manner:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Love to know what you said and their reaction :D

I explained that Land Rovers were off road vehicles that were able to drive on the road aswell. Then took them for a spin showing off with low range etc. When it snows like now they don't move the Juke, got conned by the salesman at Nissan unfortunately and not in a position to change it for another couple of years. When the weather is bad everyone on our street knows to come to me for help, probably why some help me maintain the RR

But but but its 4x4 just the same as the landy is 4x4!! And everyone knows you're better off spinning the wheels as fast as possible in mud and snow so low box is just a gimmik :D

More and more P38's coming to market i have noticed and all at very differing asking prices too. It seems they are actually selling out there to buyers for 10k plus amounts.
