never used it when it was auto, locks up wheels fine when its jacked up

the cables stretch so it all needs adjusting even if only used infrequently. Ours will hold on a good slope forward/backwards.
Get it looked at before it gets expensive and you have to get into the EPB box.

Oh and I have noticed that if you stop on a good slope using foot brake and park it will roll slightly into the park pawl.
Not good as it don’t half make a noise getting it out.
But if you stop on the foot brake then apply handbrake release foot then reapply and put in park when you come to move off again it’s no noise.

EPB = electronic parking brake = the work of the devil, well known to seize up if not used or stick on and get trashed and are bloody expensive to sort out:D

well don't have one of them on a 2003 so its more likely lack of use that's the problem
Hand brake shoes on l322 are tiny, fiat 500 (original air cooled one) had bigger brakes on it and didnt weigh any thing like a range rover !

Yep, never leave an auto hanging on the pawl. Always handbrake in neutral and then when stable go for Park.

Some of the Jags from around 2000 would get stuck in park if they were hanging on the pawl.

Nice trailer:D

Thanks, it is. Don’t get used everyday but it’s so useful to have around.
Actually brought in Germany (few reasons) a couple of years ago. The trailer shop thought we were nuts when we turned up with 2 cars and a trailer on each:confused:. Or should I say when they arrived in the morning and we got out of the horse trailer well rested and with a cup of tea:D.

Looks versatile, tri-axle?

No that’s the one I was using to wash up tile job and for water for mixing glue. It’s not there for watering the grass:D

Being a 6+ mtr trailer and quite low at the back on unlevel ground it gets pretty close to grounding out sometimes:)

The little tab (red bit covering the sticky bit) is a right PITA to get back under the glass.
Wooden kebab skewer worked great to get the old tabs out and help ease new ones in.

All done 30mins.
