Any one tried those cheap 2x airbags for £70 on ebay? Or a case of stay well away?
Seems the next ones up from them are the aftermarket ones, Allmakers, Britpart etc ones at about £60 each, would these be much of an improvement over the ebay ones?

Dunlop ,I fitted Dunlop to my d2 ,9 years ago ,still good.

Iirc, I got two dunlop including the spring clips for £120 off a supplier on the bay.

Cheers

+1 ^^^ specific seller trick, they say Dunlop in the title but they couldnt lie too much in the description so avoided like that:

Brand: Vevor Fahrradzubehör
Country/Region of Manufacture: does not apply

i dont wonder why it doesnt apply

I've used Dunlops from a known supplier costs work out at around 120 quid or so.
There's cheap ...... and too cheap.

Alright, that means I'll stick to the knows brands, little confused here with this "PR2" thing, does this mean they are made by a difference company to the same spec?
Cheers

Also seems the rear of the body maaay have to be lifted slightly to get new air pipe harness in, as the air filter intake pipe runs over the chassis by the spring mount, it seems pretty tight in there, and unless the "quick release" connector is removable from the new harness it wont be fitting through there I doubt... guess I wont know till I try.

When I fitted new air springs it took longer to jack up and level the car than it did to fit the springs, I bought mine from Paddock, with Dunlop name on each spring.

I’m sure the air bags are easy enough, but the actual completed pipe harness looks a little work. The previous owner had cut all my pipes short when he converted it to coils.

I'm going to call @neilly in on this, he knows where to get various items for joining and cutting into the pipes for the air suspension system. I can't remember .....

Hmm I could cut the main intake and join It to the old one so I wouldn’t have to try feeding it over the chassis... but then I’m cutting a 100 quid harness and feeling like I’m a doing half a job :p

original-landyair on the bay of flea does a few kits suitable for the D2.

272726603897 one of his items
