I have lots of bits, and I would like to give them away.... BUT I am afraid to give them away, because when I do, I know it will break down and I need them parts that I gave away..... I have almost a whole series II based on that in spear parts! and a 1/3 of a P38 suspension system.....

With all the advertising, donations may not be needed anymore:rolleyes:
That’s what I’m uncertain of. If it can’t be done we will have to choose a charity :)

You have to have faith in your ability Dopes (and good LZ friends - which you have ;)). And the odd spanner :D
The majority of these parts should be capable. The few bits letting it down can be worked around or replaced. It be great get new off the shelf but that’s not an option for me :( there’s nothing to lose only gain room in your shed for more useful bits :)

Anyone got a detailed report like this for the EAS on a classic? Great job Range Roller dt.

Thankyou

Don’t know of one but It shouldn’t be too different a system?
This may be a long thread eventually but hopefully we will get to the point of showing a mutilated-coiled P38 turn into decent one. Didn’t expect to be here a year ago but I’m glad I can share my adventures and I couldn’t do this if it weren’t for everyone here :)

I am well fortunate to be in the company of such great people :):):)
In lieu of payment the PO asked that I make a donation to Landyzone on his behalf

@TAKdriver - I forgot about this thread. Donate feature doesn’t exist now so a donation was made to The British Heart Foundation on your behalf.
They are a charity that fund into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart/circulatory diseases.

For anyone that would like to contribute click here -
https://www.bhf.org.uk/how-you-can-help/donate/donate-money
They accept single donations aswell as standing orders. They also accept good furniture or electrical products for sale at their shops if you contact them.

I contribute alright, but not in the way I would like!! had 3 h/a and have another appointment for yet more stents on the 2nd oct...

What is it on here that we all seem to have heart problems. Is it compulsory when owning a P38 or did we live our lives to the full and bugger the consequences
I’m sure I’m just gonna drop one day. One large sharp pain in the chest and the EAS is someone else’s problem. I think it takes a certain type of person to get along with these Landys, one that’s used to hardship

All you lot will have beat me to it by then, il just be here muttering to myself about how fossil fuel RRs were the best...

My neighbour had a P38 years back (I had mine before him) he has had about 10 cars since, he always says to my why I dont get rid of it, I simply say I love it! and I had my SII long before that, cant really explain why

You should see my cholesterol level. Every time I move surgery the new GP has a fit and I have to hide until they forget me. Dopey is a few years ahead of me but I doubt I will get a chance at stents.

Don't give up hope I was told couldn't have stents. Pneumatic drill up the arm into heart drilled out blockage and then stented. All while I watched on screen above my head. That's technology for you. Asked if I could borrow it to decoke the car
