I got mr cool and Mandy (LCBandit) phone numbers, if anyone wants mine send me a pm...
Got most of my stuff done today so now just lots of little stuff to do......

:cool:6 of us so far, with few to join on route, think that makes at least 5 more than any other area........

I think that counts as MASSIVE......:D

Another one coming from our Facebook page, Barry. Dont know what his log on is on here though

Might be silly question, but what people do about phone chargers? I will do my best not to forget my car-charger, but I don't know how often/long I'll be using the car during the weekend. Is there like electricity available in the place?

Also, how we'll do it with gas? I am assuming I'll have to top up on the way but during the weekend I wouldn't want to run out somewhere :D

Go into an EE shop and get a charge bar... It gives 2 charges of your phone :) they're free!

I'm taking a generator for the phones, ipad and laptop :D

Yes of course, but not sure if its poweful enough for them. I have some gas straighteners if I can find them :D

600 watt and yes it does run.

not that I expect ya to know what a watt is
probably a watteva knowing sue, or even a :wtf:

:D:D

Be wary of small generators and electronic equipment, some of them can have a rough output that will reduce expensive electronics to expensive scrap.

My generator is bigger than that, but I'm not bringing it :p

Will be charging the phone off the land rover, anything else isn't required.

Edit - a surge protection lead won't help if the voltage of the generator drops, you'd be better with a computer style UPS in between the generator and whatever you're running on it. (Not necessary for the hairdryer, just the electronics)
