Look how this thread goes downhill when I'm busy :p:p

So Saturdays trip is all sorted :D it will be good to get out again. Just the new headlight to sort

Haven't had time to sort out a meet this week. What about next Friday or Saturday, pub meet this time I think.

On the agenda will be the Docs trip, the 4x4 show, the anniversary trip, possible ideas for the bank holidays and a Wales trip

Next Saturday's good for me for pub meet

Not bothered about staying late it's just i don't know what day it is never mind a week away so i just have to keep checking that i have my date's right.:D:D

LOL, I cant do the show now, sorry but I have the horses to do.

Have a bit of a plan for the Sunday afternoon though. There are a few lanes fairly local that are showing on trailwise but would probably benefit from walking first as I think the comments are from bikers. Trouble is they are on steep hills and I dont fancy walking up them :eek::eek:

My idea is take a couple of vehicles with two drivers. Take it in turns to get out at the top and walk down while vehicles goes round the road. If they are OK we could then drive up them :D:D:D Might even reclaim my dog (she has moved in at my uncles :D) for the day.

Zip has provisionally agreed to this, anyone else interested. Oh and we could try the ford which TimandMick keep posting pics of on the North Yorks thread.

Might do Jack good after all the excitement and party food on Saturday. Not sure you and Kate will have any energy left though :D:D:D:D

And I promised I would stop calling Timandmick names, dont you start

So what area are you doing this weekend then Sue?
Hope that the weather is good for the day as not had a invite lol.
Really looking forward to the end of the month camping (not really)

Not your sort of trip Brian, just a few of us going round the lanes we know. Didn't advertise it on here it was arranged privately.

a) It was next Sunday, the day after Jacks party, not this weekend. But there is no reason why it couldn't be this weekend :D:D:D

b) On the North Yorkshire thread, do keep up :eek::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Right off out to fit my new headlight. The old one was sealed beam and you cant buy those anymore. Neil showed me how to fit the sealed beam one, so I just need to know if ones with a bulb are different. Does it matter which way the bulb goes etc :D:D

Should be self explanatory when yu look at it. Unscrew the rim and separate sb unit from it by undoing lttle screw clamps. Attach new reflector to rim, and replace unit. The bulb will most likely only fit the right way up, and reflector will say top, or similar on it.

Thank you, glasses will be needed then :D

its been out and two second hand sealed beam lamps fitted, unfortunately either main beam was boogered or dip didn't work on the other.
so WE refitted the original, to change at a later date :D

I know the feeling, I got tired of the growing pile of dead sealed beams in me shed :(
So I got the Wipac lights, the bulbs still blow, but cheaper than sb, and a little brighter as well. :)
