Hi Sue i do not know any lanes lol you are the A star planner.
Would not be able to do this weekend as started a new job and have to work this first weekend :(
But will only be doing 5 days monday - friday for next few months.
So hope to be out soon.

Not any more Brian

Sick of the flak I get on here

Will probably organise the trips elsewhere and just post reports on here

imo I think the lz anniversary bash needs to be kept simple with as little people as possible. .. people interfering causes problems, too many cooks spoil the broth and all that. . organising a lanin trip amongst yourselves on the weekend of the bash is kinda like sayin we will be there but will do our own thing regardless of what the organisers have planned. People dont know what the organisers have in store... so imo people should just go and see...

Well imo i think people should keep their opinions to themselves when they don't have a clue what west yorkshire laners are doing. We don't Know ourselves yet,as your first line of your post goes (imo I think the lz anniversary bash needs to be kept simple with as little people as possible.)this is what you will end up with by doing what you are doing, your second statement,(people interfering causes problems,).So imo i think you should practice what you preach.

I concur

LZ'ers should stick together imho

no offence to SueW who is a wonderful Lady ;)

Thank you Andy :D

My first and last comment on the anniversary event

I was trying to raise interest for it among our lot. At no point did I suggest organising anything once we arrived. I thought a convoy down there might encourage a few more to brave the trip in their Landies :D:D. I have no idea where people have got the idea I was organising anything about the event. Please feel free to read my posts.

As it turns out hardly anyone was interested anyway, so I probably wont both going either. Problem solved

Exactly why I have acquired a stalker I dont know, but it takes all sorts

Good grief don't flatter your self.

Organising hotels and such for your clan ... dont you think the guys organisin the bash has this in hand and thinking of everyones needs? Just putting your name down would be enough. .. convoy up yes... but your past track record of fookin off and doin your iwn thing dont bode well.

You are a attractive Lady after all:lvlove-158: ;)

I hope the anniveersary bash will be an opportunity for LZers to come together who in the normal course of things perhaps wouldn't.

I have many here I consider friends that I've never met and many that could well be friends given thechance.

It's open to all LZers no matter what their interests or who they normally hang out with, after all we all have something in common. I'd like to think that everyone will feel comfortable whether arriving alone or in convoy.....a bit like logging on in real life :)

Anyway back to more interesting matters :D:D

If we are not doing the LZ event, are we still thinking of the Coast to Coast the first bank holiday weekend in May, or do we prefer Spring Bank which is at the end of the month.

And anyone got any ideas for where we want to go on Zips next trip, I am supposed to be finding a destination.

We really need to arrange the pub meet or was it the workshop (did anyone ask Neil) What about next Friday night, or is that too late for the next trip

I'm not the brightest star in the sky:rolleyes: But would guess that West Yorkshire is putting a trip together. And Sue does have excellent organizational skills, And men need a women to tell what to do. And every good group needs a good leader:rolleyes::D And what makes a really good group are good followers
