How I would love to do the Wales trip :( I might just meet you at the meeting point and say hi...unfortunately that's the furthest I will be going :(

:D:D Makes that part of the workshop nice and warm already

And as for the plans for the special oil collection system so some of it actually gets into the burner instead of the floor :D:D Brilliant

yeah.
don't let you near a sump plug.

........reckon that could be a good nickname for yerz.......:D

OK, second attempt, he forgot to put the sump plug back in so all the new oil came out as well :D:D

Which means there will now be a "Diffs Slick" on the workshop floor :D:D:D

Only a complete muppet could do such an eejit thing....

Believe me..........I know :eek::doh:

eejit I might be ... complete muppet? No only partial.

See, I still had the old oil collection tool (cut apart old container) still under the sump. All I did was begin to pour the new oil in, but shortly after beginning the process...****, **** ****... Neil thought I'd got cramp or summat with the shouting! :D I jumped off the ramp and dived under the Disco to put the plug in. Then thought sod it. finish making the brew and let the little bit of new oil flush the sump again ;)
If there hadn't of been the trouble with the centrifugal oil filter cover bolt stripping the housing then I might have remembered about the plug. (Ta for the bit of engineering on the lathe Neil!)

Job done, even if it was a little late in the evening/morning...:scratching_chin:

EDIT Hope the exploratory laning went well!! Sarah, have you used that NATO hitch yet?

Laning was great.
Thanks to zip and sue.

Now I need a mirror, steering box and a decant excuse to tell the mrs about the latest scratch on the car lol
