Happy new year t u to.
Back on the grind stone, ordered me steel for the sills. Found a m8 some tube to make his cage on his triler.
Hoping to get her stripped down this wekend.
Beer went down well, cheers (that was the bag Gem kept telling you not to pick up! !!) :D

dont yer mean the one with crappy string handles ;)

well dont ferget to post some pics, should of called in rowley engineering wile yer were ere, iv built most of my projects out of there skip, spose 3mtr lengths are an off cut when yer using 1000s of tonnes a yr ! ther cheap too :)

How tne feck would I fit that in the ****e boot on my car?
Getting 8 lengths of different bits and costing £277.20, that includes the cage pipe..
7.5m as well not puny 6.1m..:p
Need to fit more cooling fans on my mig, she keeps cooking!!!!!:D
You dryed out yours yet?

yeah, needs another good clean tho,

my old snap-on mig was a bastard for cooking, i just stuck the airline thru the vents of the casing in the general direction of the thermal overload, :)

the oxford arc on the otherhand .....i just bypassed the overload alltogether, full power ahead :D

Got 2x 240v 4" fans to put on, one blow in one suck out!!! Force it cold :p
Would use the 3phase arc but it's at the other farm..
Thinking of making a crew cab focus since you suggested it about mine  find a cheap one on flebay and pickup it :D

dont see why not, they did it to the golf back in the 80s :) yer only need the stihl saw and a roll of gaffer tape

why bother with little fans just butcher a nice 6 or 9" kitchen extractor fan to run constant right through past the transformer cos theres a second thermal overload sensor in there and bypass the one yer can see ;)

Wow, ive just read through the whole rebuild, what a piece of artwork! Youve put more bledy work into that thing than the guys at solihull! Its given me some insight into my IIa build now, its looking daunting!

just as long as it aint yer japs eye then.:D
i think everyone has enjoyed the re build to be honest.now get it all sold to one of the big landy magazines,i am sure they would buy it as the build could be serialised over many months.therefore keeping the readers wanting more.;)

yer recon? wonder how much its worth lol :D

yes i do mate, genuinely.get in touch with them and explain how you did it etc.send em a pic or two to show the results etc.my mum did a story once and sold it to lancashire life,so these mags are very interested in other people doing stuff like this as it saves them doing it.give it a go,what have you got to lose, but you might have something to gain.;)

ok, il email a few and see what they say, like yer say, nothing to loose

ok, good man.but make sure you tell them what you have done, not just a note saying you did a landy up or something like that.;).good luck and let me know how it goes will ya.:D
