Hi,
Managed to get rid of the serious rough running on my 2.5 petrol 88" , by changing plugs & points & a bit of idle & mix adjustment , however you can see from the carb , which is a Weber 32/34 DMTL all is not well , it seeps fuel out of the joints and out of an open threaded hole in the side . the stink of fuel is quite strong & it can't be safe . Despite not having done it before am thinking of rebuilding. and certainly finding out what should be in that threaded hole . My manual only covers the standard 2.25 88" CARB , Have been on the internet but can't find a good link to a related manual or exploded diagram for the 32/34 . Does anyone have of know of good link could use to get the detail to support my rebuild ? .
Any support much appreciated
Ta

There's no pictures. Fast Road Cars are a good place to get parts. An overhaul and good clean is always worthwhile.

These are good carbs that work well on a landy when set up right.

The picture is not attached but I'm guessing it might be where one of the overrun/idle solenoids go. You really should get the solenoids or if not work out how to blank them off.

I think one cuts the fuel supply when the engine is off and the other opens when engine is off to allow the fuel in the float bowl to expand without spilling into the inlet manifold.

Indeed , getting a rebuild kit or full replacement is no problem, what I'm keen to get a good look at before I order the rebuilding kit is a breakdown type diagram - just like the 88" workshop manual , but for this particular carb . Particularly as I am concerned there actually may be a screw that goes into the body missing (hence the leak ) , so I need to check what I should actually look like .
Soleniods - that bit seems clear
Cheers Steve

here you go see attachment - worth buying the book.

There's plenty of stuff online about DMTL's just search weber DMTL. It's worth taking a picture of the missing bit....well the place where this missing bit is missing from!
