Been having trouble with wandering steering......

Turned out to be lower Steering column upper UJ completely shot.

New part on order.

Thats great news when you find & fix a fault. I've just had advisory on mot that my rubber coupling / uj is worn on steering column shaft. Is this part available separately as it looks riveted on in pic, or is it a new shaft?

Seems to need a new shaft.
Cheapest I could find was here ...ANR3698 | Steering Shaft including UJs

Make sure when you fit the new one everything is line up correctly. Very important.

Old one removed, new one fitted......son of a b.... to get the old one out.
LPG stuff blocking easy access.
Inner wheel trim removed for better access.

Glad that the wheels now go where the steering tells them too....
